The Compton Cowboys

The Compton Cowboys are an L.A. based group that use horseback riding and equestrian culture to provide a positive influence on inner-city youth. There motto is "The streets raised us, the horses saved us." Ariat has a long-running partnership and collaboration with the Compton Cowboys. I was lucky enough to get to photograph them at their stables in Compton.
